PTFE Pressure Regulator Overview
With the instructions of the 250 (1/4”) and 500 (1/2”) pressure regulators, Teqcom once again offers a solution to a problem area.
Teqcom’s PTFE pressure regulator employs a large sensing diaphragm combined with a precision guided poppet to assure chatter-free operation. Other standard features are listed as bulleted items above.The Teqcom PTFE pressure regulator does an excellent job of reducing upstream pressures to a predetermined downstream pressure. Fluid entering the regulator flows through the orifice where it is throttled by the poppet and continues on through to the outlet port. This pressure regulated fluid also passes through a bleed and acts on the sensing diaphragm to balance the force of the adjustment spring. The poppet tracks the movement of the diaphragm providing the proper throttle position at the orifice to maintain desired downstream pressure. The leak tight seal assures bubble tight closure in the no-flow condition.
This regulator is ruggedly constructed and manufactured to the utmost precision to insure long life and trouble-free operation. The high degree of quality control assures the user the ultimate in reliability.
